This breaker is designed for use in GE PowerMark Gold, GE PowerMark Plus, ABB ReliaHome load centers, and GE AQ lighting panels that accept 1-inch THQL plug-in breakers.
Do I need to connect a load neutral to this breaker if I am powering a straight 240V load?
No. For dedicated 240V loads that do not require a neutral, you do not connect a load neutral to the breaker. However, the breaker's coiled white pigtail wire must still be connected to the panel's neutral bus bar for the ground fault detection to function properly.
What are the recommended lug tightening torque specifications for the THQL2140GF1?
The recommended torque depends on the wire size used. Torque 8 AWG wire to 40 in-lbs, 6 to 4 AWG to 45 in-lbs, and 3 AWG to 50 in-lbs.
