Part of the Q-Line family, the THQMV200D is a 2-pole, 200A main circuit breaker kit designed for residential and commercial systems. It serves as a primary disconnect for PowerMark Gold panels. This plug-on unit mounts into 150A to 225A GE PowerMark Gold load centers. Unlike the standard version, this kit includes both the mounting base and line side lugs for a complete installation. Is the THQMV200D interchangeable with the THQMV200E?
Yes. The THQMV200E is the direct replacement for the legacy THQMV200D. Both are 200A, 2-pole main breakers designed for the same GE PowerMark Gold load centers and share identical form, fit, and function.
Why might this breaker arrive with ABB branding instead of GE?
ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions in 2018. Depending on the manufacturing date, this breaker may feature either ABB or GE branding. The product itself remains identical in specifications and compatibility regardless of the label.
Can the THQMV200D be used as a branch breaker?
No. The THQMV series is specifically designed to serve as a main circuit breaker or primary disconnect in compatible GE PowerMark Gold panels. It is not intended for use as a standard branch breaker.
What are the mounting torque specifications for the THQMV200D base?
When securing the breaker base to the load center interior, the nuts on the threaded studs should be torqued to 35 to 50 in-lb. The mounting screws securing the base to the enclosure should be torqued to 20 to 25 in-lb.
Does the THQMV200D provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No. This is a standard thermal magnetic breaker equipped with fixed long-time and instantaneous trip functions. It does not provide GFCI or AFCI protection.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
