Can I install the THQL2130PGFT in an older GE panel without a plug-on neutral bar?

No. The THQL2130PGFT is a Plug-On Neutral (PON) breaker and requires a compatible GE PowerMark Gold Plug-on Neutral or ABB ReliaHome load center. For older panels without a PON bar, you must use the pigtail version, catalog number THQL2130GFT.

How does the plug-on neutral connection work on this breaker?

The plug-on neutral design eliminates the need for a traditional pigtail wire. The breaker clips directly onto the neutral bar in a compatible load center, saving gutter space and speeding up installation.

What level of ground fault protection does the THQL2130PGFT provide?

This breaker provides Class A ground fault protection, which trips when a ground fault of 5mA is detected. This is designed for personnel protection in wet or damp locations.

What are common applications for a 30A, 2-pole GFCI breaker?
