4 answersWhat panelboards are compatible with the ED22B045 circuit breaker?
This ED frame breaker is designed for use in Siemens Sentron panelboards and switchboards that accept bolt-on branch breakers. It is not compatible with standard residential plug-on load centers.
Can the Siemens ED22B045 replace older ITE or Gould breakers with the same catalog number?
Yes. Siemens acquired ITE and Gould, so the ED22B045 is a direct physical and electrical replacement for legacy ITE and Gould ED22B045 breakers.
Does the ED22B045 come with line and load lugs installed?
This breaker typically includes load side lugs as standard. Line side connections in Sentron panelboards are made via the bolt-on bus connections, so line lugs are not required for standard panelboard installation.
Can I install this ED frame breaker in a panelboard from another manufacturer?
No. Installing a Siemens ED22B045 in a non-Siemens panelboard violates UL listings and can create a fire hazard due to improper busbar connections. It must only be installed in approved Siemens or legacy ITE enclosures.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
