7 answersCan I install the HOM125 in a Square D QO load center?
No. The HOM125 is a Homeline series breaker and is only compatible with Square D Homeline load centers. QO panels have a different busbar design and require QO series breakers.
Can the HOM125 accept two wires under the terminal?
Yes, the screw clamp terminal is rated to accept two 14-10 AWG copper wires. If using a single wire, it accepts 14-8 AWG copper or aluminum.
Is the HOM125 HACR rated?
Yes, this breaker is HACR rated, making it suitable for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment that requires this designation.
Is this breaker SWD rated for switching duty?
No. Switching Duty (SWD) ratings for fluorescent lighting applications are typically only applied to 15A and 20A breakers. The 25A HOM125 does not carry an SWD rating.
What does the LI trip function mean on this breaker?
The LI designation indicates it is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker. It provides Long-Time (thermal) protection against overloads and Instantaneous (magnetic) protection against short circuits.
Are there direct replacements from other brands for the HOM125?
No. Square D Homeline load centers are UL listed exclusively for Homeline breakers. Using other brands voids the UL listing of the panel.
Does the HOM125 provide GFCI or AFCI protection?
No, the HOM125 is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker. It does not include Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) or Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) protection.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
