This breaker is designed exclusively for use in Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It utilizes an I-Line style plug-on connection for the line side bus assembly.
Can the QBA32080 replace older Square D circuit breakers?
Yes, the PowerPacT Q-Frame QBA32080 is the direct functional replacement for the discontinued Q2 Series Q23080 circuit breaker.
How are the line and load connections configured on the QBA32080?
The line side features an I-Line plug-on connection that mounts directly to the panelboard bus. The load side is equipped with mechanical lugs that accept 4 AWG to 300 kcmil aluminum or copper wire.
Can I use the QBA32080 in systems with high available fault current?
This breaker is limited to a 10kAIC rating at 240VAC. For systems with higher available fault currents, you must use a higher-rated PowerPacT Q-Frame breaker, such as the QD, QG, or QJ series.
Does the QBA32080 require additional mounting hardware for installation?
No. As an I-Line plug-on breaker, it mounts directly onto the bus assembly of an I-Line panelboard or switchboard without the need for separate mounting hardware or brackets.
Can the trip curve be adjusted on the QBA32080?
No. The QBA32080 is equipped with a non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time thermal protection and instantaneous magnetic protection have fixed settings.
Does the QBA32080 include a push-to-trip feature?
Yes, PowerPacT Q-Frame breakers include an integral push-to-trip button on the cover, allowing you to manually trip the breaker to verify the mechanical operation of the trip mechanism.
Is this breaker suitable for use in standard Square D QO or Homeline load centers?
No. The QBA32080 features an I-Line plug-on connection and is strictly compatible with commercial I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It will not fit in residential QO or Homeline enclosures.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
