6 answersCan I use the QDA32100 to replace an older Q23100 breaker?
Yes. The QDA32100 is the modern PowerPacT Q-Frame substitute for legacy Q23100 and Q232100H I-Line circuit breakers.
What panels are compatible with the QDA32100?
This breaker is engineered exclusively for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. Its plug-on bus connection is not compatible with standard unit-mount enclosures, NQ panelboards, or residential load centers.
Do I need a separate mounting kit to install the QDA32100 in an I-Line panel?
No additional hardware is required. The breaker plugs directly onto the panelboard bus stack, and the built-in mounting foot fastens securely to the backpan.
Is the QDA32100 suitable for 480V applications?
No. The QDA32100 has a maximum voltage rating of 240VAC. If your commercial or industrial system requires 480V or 600V protection, you must specify a different frame size, such as a PowerPacT H-Frame or J-Frame breaker.
Can the trip unit settings on the QDA32100 be adjusted in the field?
No. The thermal-magnetic trip unit in the QDA32100 is completely fixed. Both the long-time thermal and instantaneous magnetic trip points are factory set and cannot be field adjusted or interchanged.
How does the QDA32100 visually indicate a tripped condition?
When an overcurrent or short circuit causes the breaker to trip, the operating handle moves to a distinct center position midway between ON and OFF, providing a clear visual indication of a fault.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
